Aspire Dental Centre has been supporting KidSport since 2015 with the sponsorship of the Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp and Golf Classic.

Aspire Dental Centre believes that it is important to get kids active, whether it be on the ice, on a football field or anywhere else that allows them to develop healthy lifestyles, no matter the financial, physical or language barriers that may exist.  Staying active encourages children to maintain healthy habits throughout their lives.  The challenges that come with playing sports also teach children valuable life lessons and skills including leadership, practice, hard work, dedication and self confidence! External Dental Missions

We are part of a Canadian initiative to improving oral health around the world. It is called Kindness in Action (KIA). Each year, KIA sends groups of volunteers to at least 10 different parts of the world, from Latin America to South East Asia. Aspire Dental Centre started with KIA in 2012 and immediately fell in love with their passion and dedication to helping while respecting the people’s dignity. Recycle Box_edited.jpg

At Aspire Dental Centre, we are fortunate to have a team that is conscious of the impact we have on the environment.  Due to the nature of our industry, there are only so many things in our control that we can do to maintain proper protocol, while being mindful of the waste leaving our clinic.  With that being said, we are proud to share that our clinic participates in two programs being offered by a world-wide company, TerraCycle.

The first program is the Nitrile and Latex Gloves Zero Waste Box.  On average in our clinics throw out 12,000 individual gloves every single month.  Instead of discarding these gloves to go to a landfill, we have purchased the Zero Waste Boxes specifically for the Nitrile gloves we utilize.  The collected waste is mechanically and/or manually separated and undergoes extrusion and pelletization to be molded into new recycled plastic products.  This helps us to safely recycle the 144,000 gloves we use annually. WK Teddy Bears Picnic.jpg

Teddy Bear Picnic

This year our Winkler Aspire Dental Centre office was happy to host a tent in support of Winkler’s Annual Teddy Bear Picnic.  By being apart of this amazing event we were able to reach out to children of all ages to build a better relationship and foundation for dental education and care.  And to have fun of course!

We included a brushing station in which we would teach proper brushing methods, a play-dough filling restoration station, an information station, and last but not least, a free exam for Teddy Bears and friends of all kinds!

This event, which draws a crowd of over 500 plus people, is a way we can give back to our community and be a leading representative of excellent dental care within Winkler and surrounding neighborhoods.

We can’t wait for next year and we look forward to many more Teddy Bear Picnics in the future!
